Hi friends!

With everything going on in our world right now, I find myself trying to come up with the right thing(s) to say, but what I’ve come to realize, quickly, is that there is nothing I can say. What I do know is staying silent is something that we cannot do. I’ve had conversations with my friends, family, and community members (you guys) to hear stories, experiences, and to further educate myself on something that is so important.

I personally may not be able to understand and the things going on in the world might be very uncomfortable for those of us that don’t understand, but I am jumping in head first to educate myself on the injustices, and the history of what the African American community has and is experiencing. I am here to stand alongside and fight. I hope we all choose love in the end, but for now it looks like it will take more than just love to correct the system that is currently in place. We have an obligation to do what is right so I encourage all of you to take action, research, and do what you can even if you are not from the United States.

Hopefully these ten minutes will give us all a moment to breath. Throughout quarantine I turned to fitness to push myself into a better space both mentally and physically. It was so great to see you guys on live today!
